What is Cosmetic Acupuncture?
Cosmetic Acupuncture is acupuncture treatment for non physiological or muscular pain. Needles are insert into the face and neck acupuncture points to stimulate circulation, stimulate the production of collagen, in order to tighten the loosing skin and ease the fine lines on face and neck.
Will Insurance cover Cosmetic Acupuncture treatment?
No, regular health insurance will not cover the treatment because they are not medical necessity. All sessions are pay out of pocket expense.
How many treatments do I need?
First time client I recommend 2 treatments per week for 5 weeks. After that, depends on the holding of your skin, one visit every two week is recommended. For maintenance, one treatment per month is recommended.
What is the cost of Cosmetic Acupuncture?
Introductory cost is $35.00 per session for now. The price can be range from $70.00 per treatment to $150.00 per treatment.
How many points do you needle?
For the price of $35.00, each area ( face, neck or abdominal ) treatment includes 10 acupuncture points. One acupuncture point may insert one to three needles.
Do you insert needles directly onto the wrinkles?
Not necessary. I use Mei Zen system in which the needles are inserted to the points that will tonify the Qi, improve circulation, remove stagnation and toxic, stimulate collagen production, in order to lift up and tighten the skin.
